Who am I? My Adventures as Biohacker.

Hi, I’m Lipa Roitman PhD, Esq., provider a fine music for the Illuminati, illiterati and the proletariat, a world-class child prodigy violinist in the distant past. Also a master of the keyboard, practical kabbalah and synesthesia, mad scientist chemist, algorithmic system developer, a code debugger, a crystal grower, a sharp shooter, walked twice along the Mobius strip, a health addict, an entrepreneur, a tall tales teller, a tinkerer, a musical alchemist and as of lately trying to hack my way into poetry. I prefer to think of myself as a creative explorer and experimenter, in music and lifestyle.

On a more serious note, I’m now an old dude. In the 1980s when I was still in my early 30’s and doing my post-doc in Akron U, I bought a book “Life Extension Companion” by by Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw. That got me hooked.

Over the years (life interfering in between) I was experimenting on myself with mega-dosing vitamin C and what not. Once, on my yearly check up my physician told me he didn’t understand why my analyses are getting better with time. I didn’t comment.

As years passed I got involved in other things, job and raising family, and my interest waned. Now, as I have more time to get back I’m catching up on what I’ve missed meanwhile.

I’ll write here about the discoveries in the medical research that are relevant to my search for immortality (he-he).

Having a background in chemistry helps me to navigate the medical literature, from which I’m picking some hints on how to improve my life.

There are a lot of research publications, often contradictory, which is understandable. Human beings do not all come from the same background, live in different climates and environments. I’m trying to make sense from what I read and applying this to my daily life.
